One Tap Lock Privacy Policy

One Tap Lock is an Android utility for quickly performing the system lock screen action. We aim to collect only the minimum information needed to improve the product.

Information We Collect

The app uses Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data so we can understand whether key features work, which entry points are used more often, and which language versions need more attention. This may include:

• App opens, lock entry clicks, lock results, and permission prompt events.
• Main icon style preview and apply events.
• In-app language setting.
• Basic diagnostic information about the device and app, such as device model, OS version, app version, country or region, crash information, and performance-related data.

This data does not include screen content, passwords, contacts, SMS messages, photo contents, or content from other apps.

Permission Usage

• Accessibility service: Used only when you actively tap a lock entry, in order to invoke the Android system global lock screen action. The app does not read screen text, does not click or control other apps, and does not record your input.
• Network access: Used for Firebase Analytics to send anonymous usage and diagnostic events.
• Photo picker: Used only when you actively choose a local image as a custom home screen icon. The selected image is stored locally in app data and is not uploaded to our servers.
• Quick Settings tile and home screen shortcuts: Used to create lock entries that you choose to add.

How We Use Information

We use anonymous analytics data to:

• Check whether lock screen, Quick Settings, and home screen entry features work correctly.
• Understand which icon styles and language versions users choose more often.
• Prioritize fixes for issues that affect more users.
• Inform future free and paid feature decisions.

Third-Party Services

The app uses Google Firebase Analytics. Firebase may process device and usage data according to Google's policies. You can review Google's related information here:

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Other than using Firebase Analytics for statistics and diagnostics, we do not actively share in-app usage data with third parties unless required by law.

Data Retention

Firebase Analytics data is retained according to the Firebase and Google Analytics retention settings. You can stop future data collection by uninstalling the app.

Children's Privacy

This app is not designed for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
